Yr 5 Open Morning
Year 5 opened up their classrooms to invite parents in to enjoy our Ancient Greek museum. The children have been working hard all term to produce clay pots in varying Greek styles and replica artefacts such as 'knucklebones' - an Ancient Greek children's game, tragedy and comedy masks for theatre, and even an Archimedes screw! We had tasty treats on offer for visitors to sample like grape juice, pomegranates, olives and honey, and each exhibit had an interactive quiz, game or wordsearch to try. Well-researched information was also on display as well as fun and informative PowerPoint presentations. The children were excellent hosts and were able to explain and guide visitors around the various items making up their exhibits. A fab morning!
