Reception/KS1 Class teacher for September 2017 Applications invited from excellent practitioners.
Applications are requested from excellent Reception teachers. The vacancy has arisen due to expansion. St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School has excellent links with St Andrew’s Church and with the whole community in Cobham and beyond. Our new academy status, joining the Esher Learning Trust, reflects our ambition to develop further the presence of the school in the community. Our growth from 340 pupils in 2010 to 500 in September 2017 has enabled us to develop a highly skilled staff team, each member of which is committed to the achievement and well-being of every child. We have an innovative approach to the curriculum including our Activity Hour - an exciting Outdoor Learning, Sports and Performing Arts programme. We have developed an inclusive culture that is ambitious for every child to live life in all its fullness; our values are at the heart of our school and underpin all our developments and decisions. In addition to the role of class teacher, each successful candidate will be expected to lead a subject.
