E-safety is a very important part of the Computing curriculum which we make sure we promote to both children and parents at St Andrew’s. Each year we hold an E-safety day which is also nationally recognised. In class we teach children about the importance of staying safe online. Over the last few years technology has developed at a rapid pace and children have access to many forms of this at home through ipads, websites and mobile phones. We strive to equip all of our children with an understanding of what to do if something arises that makes them feel uncomfortable and unsafe whether at school or at home. This coming academic year we will be holding an annual e-safety meeting for parents which we hope will be very informative to help keep our children safe.
