At St Andrew's we are extremely lucky to have more than 10 acres for the children to use every day. To make sure the children get maximum benefit from this space, we introduced our unique Activity Hour in 2014. Our 4 football pitches, athletics track, 25m swimming pool, netball and tennis courts, outdoor learning area, poly-tunnel, pond and playgrounds enable our pupils to experience a broad, exciting and enriched curriculum.
Each week every pupil takes part in 2 sporting activities, 1 Outdoor Learning and 1 Arts activity in their House group. They love to play Dodgeball, Cricket, grow seedlings, complete our Orienteering course or take part in improvisation activities whilst simultaneously developing their confidence, their enjoyment of school life, their sense of responsibility and their communication skills. It is a very positive addition to our daily life at St Andrew's.
